about
I grew up in a small town in East TN & have been acting since I was six years old, when I starred as Chicken Little in Poultry in Motion. Obviously I peaked then and am playing catch up as an adult in my professional career. I am a New York based artist hailing from Nashville, TN where I received my Musical Theatre BFA. I am a local hire in many places, including LA, Chicago, Boston, DC, Nashville, & Cincinnati.
I am a believer in “failing gloriously” (making bold choices even if they are ‘wrong’), curiosity, text work, and finding engaging, honest connection onstage and on camera. I act because I love to feel human connection at its fullest & I love to study how to tell someone’s story. It’s challenging, it connects people in a profound way, it teaches empathy, and it’s my favorite thing in the world to do. I am a self taught visual artist, a rock climber, a barista, a guitarist, a lover of outer space, and my coffee order is an iced oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon. My favorite books are Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and The Once and Future King by T.H. White.
My favorite kind of things to work on are coming of age female-driven films, queer stories, Shakespeare, acting-driven musicals, and new works from their beginning stages.
