commanding & grounded with an underlying fragility at her core.
Hi! I’m Annika, a NYC based actor with an affinity for film, Shakespeare, acting-driven musicals, and new works. I am a believer in “failing gloriously” (making bold choices even if they are ‘wrong’), curiosity, text work, and finding engaging, honest connection on camera and on stage. I act because I love to feel human connection at its fullest & I love to study how to tell someone’s story. It’s challenging, it connects people in a profound way, it teaches empathy, and it’s my favorite thing in the world to do.
Oliver Houser, writer of She Reached For Heaven
“Annika gave us what all theater writers dream of: she breathed life into a character in ways I never could have seen or imagined… Having developed original musicals at theaters across the United States and abroad, I can safely say Annika is one of the most gifted actors I have seen bring my work to life.”
Bryn Boice, Associate Artistic Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company
"Annika is my favorite kind of actor; she is an incredibly hard worker, a smart actor, a fun person to work with, and an interesting type. She is very strong, edgy-cool and tough, but also has great depth of feeling and can be quite vulnerable. A Beatrice AND a Benedick, if you know what I mean."
